A trip to GYV International Summer Camp

November 22, 2010

In 2011, we welcomed Indonesian, Iraqi, Nigerian and American youth, as well as staff from from all over the world.  Youth participated in dynamic and timely peacebuilding, environmental and leadership workshops, enjoyed action packed badminton, volleyball, ping pong and soccer games, cooled off in the pool, played music, sang songs and danced with their peers from around the world; they gained new perspectives on what it means to be a global citizen and a social innovator. Over the past 33 years, the Global Youth Village has become a recognized international summer camp that regularly partners with the US Department of State to provide meaningful intercultural experiences for young people.

Please enjoy our new video that will take you on a journey to the Global Youth Village. Enjoy the ride!
