Welcome to the Global Youth Village international summer camp!
Join us for one of the most unique international summer programs in the United States. Since 1979, the GYV has trained over 3,500 teens from 102 different countries. Young people gather each summer at our campus in Virginia for an experience in global citizenship filled with cultural exchange, new friendships, fun, and laughter.
Our program provides a combination of experiences. Leadership training is a holistic process that encompasses mindsets and attitudes with teamwork and communication skills. Global is emphasized and we encourage participants to look at all sides of an issue, become aware of needs around the globe, and use creative thinking to find solutions.
Our training methods are widely recognized. In addition to serious subjects we focus on arts, crafts, culture, sports and recreation. You can enjoy the simple pleasures of a swim, a fast-paced soccer game or star gazing. We build a strong community where everyone serves each other.
